Sir,
One key sector that the F.M. has forgotten or ignored
is tourism. He has not made any allocation for tourism promotion
including health tourism.Tourism, apart from providing jobs for
thousands, also helps to earn foreign exchange.
In the era of global slow down, job losses are a worrying
situation. The FM has not taken any measure to rehabilitate
these unemployed youth or provided anything for unemployment
doles.
Defence expenditure is a sacred cow which no political
party or MP dares to question. Wasteful expenditure in the
defence sector such as canteen supplies which tie up funds and
personnel could have been stopped.
And the FM lost Rs.10000 crore by his act of withdrawing
FBT. Who is its beneficiary? Not the suffering India. It benefits
the Shinig India.
